Hi. I am looking for a tennis partner in the Woden/South Canberra area. I used to play often (that doesn't mean I'm super good or anything!), but I haven't had much of an opportunity to play since moving to Canberra, and would love to get back into it. Up for anything from friendly rally/hit to playing matches. I just want to play really! I also go to Sydney quite often so if anyone is interested in playing in Sydney (North Shore area), I'm also interested in meeting up to play when I'm there, which is usually once every 4-6 weeks on weekends.

I play at Kew Tennis Club and North Box Hill.

I'm looking for a tennis partner in City/south Canberra area. Not looking for anything too serious but just looking for someone who enjoys hitting a few balls in their spare time. I'm at a beginners level but good enough to get the ball over the net to reach the other person and hit a few ralleys!

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
