Available most days during the week (school hours ok) and weekends (when available). Seeking tennis practise players that might be considering playing tennis for the first time to keep fit, or experienced tennis players that enjoy a friendly game to keep in shape, or seeking other players for weekly practice. I have been playing for about 2 years and I'm not a pro tennis player but have some experience around the court and if your a first time player (or wanting to learn or commence a fitness program involving tennis) happy to give advice and can provide equipment if required. I prefer to play in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide (including Norwood, Kensington and Burnside) at one or two local courts and have access to new locked club tennis courts I’m flexible in times and can meet some evenings if required and practice can be for around an hour or more time if required.

Just moved back to Adelaide. I'm South American. Looking for friends/mates who play tennis for socialising and working out a bit instead of going to the gym. I don't know too many places where to play tennis, so open to hear suggestions.

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
