I use to play tennis in my teens & early twenties but stopped due to marriage commitments. I'm single again so am keen to start playing regularly again for the fun of it as well as some fitness. I'm a "B" grade player who can rally but a real pro would "wop my can" so I'd be better off with social players than with pros. Happy to play anywhere so long as its not too far from Sylvania. Oh, I also have a tennis court at my complex which we can use for free.

Hi. I have recently moved to Sydney and am looking to get back into tennis for fitness and social reasons. I played a lot as a kid, but havent played much over the past few years. I know how to play, I'm just quite out of practice. Am available week nights or weekends - the eastern suburbs would be best for me. Let me know if you are interested in getting together for a game!

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
