Hey gang! Have been playing tennis fairly regularly for about 10 years or so. Not a bad player on my day. Have recently moved to Erskineville and have access to a decent free tennis court in my apartment complex and am looking for other decent players on weeknights / weekends. Cheers, Matt

Hello Competitors! I have just moved to Sydney from the Gold Coast and would love to get involved in a regular social tennis afternoon/evening. Either Sunday afternoons or weekday evenings would work best.I have played ad hoc tennis since school, so it would be great to try and get a rally going. Playing in the eastern suburbs would be preferable. If we could get enough interest maybe we could get a little weekday evening friendly competition going? If your interested in having a social game either email me on Tania.Gabbani@live.com or text me on 0421249903

I wouldn't say I'm a great player but I can hit the ball over the net. I am looking for someone to meet up and hit the ball around the court and give me some tips on the way. Availability changes with me all the time so you will need to ask me a time cos I work as a casual job. Anywhere around Bracken Ridge would be nice but can go to other places as well.

Looking for Intermediate/Advance players who are consistent and can hold a rally. Would like to work on match play and certain areas of the game (eg. returning serve, hitting cross court to cross court). I play pennant and A grade. I'm available any day for the school holidays (2 weeks) and once the normal school season starts again, I can play on the weekends, Wednesday and Thursday nights. I can travel, but would have to work out an agreement on taking turns to travel. I train at Noble Park Tennis Club and have the keys to the court, and also at Springvale North Tennis Club. Message me so we can organize something, thanks. :)

About Tennis in Australia
Tennis is one of Australia's most widely played sports, enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From casual hit-abouts on a local court to competitive club competitions, tennis is an accessible and social sport that improves coordination, fitness, and mental agility.
Getting Started
All you need to start is a racquet, a can of balls, and a willing partner. Most local councils run beginner coaching programs, and Tennis Australia's 'Hot Shots' program provides a great pathway for younger players. Club memberships offer access to well-maintained courts, competitions, and social events.
Tennis in Australia
Tennis clubs and public courts can be found in every Australian city and regional town. Major hubs include Melbourne (home of the Australian Open), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. Search Sports Match Maker to find a tennis partner near you, whether you're a beginner looking for a knock-around or an experienced player after a competitive match.
