I used to play D grade ladies fixtures over 10 years ago. I haven't played since but would like to have a hit every now & then. I know how to play(might be a little rusty) but imagine that I'm not that "court fit" as I used to be. I'm happy for weekends or some evenings during the week. I like in Annerley so anywhere south side is preferable.

Need somebody interested in starting playing squash with me for fitness/fun but don't know much about the game. I go to gym 3/4 times a week but I feel the need for a competitive sport. Any body interested in throwing me after the ball ? :). I am available on the north-side any court near kelvin Grove or south-side Holland Park. I am available on Weekends and working day evenings.

Hi I started playing squash 5 months ago. I am looking for someone to have a hit with every now and again and if it works make it a more permanent thing. Currently I am hitting 2-3 times a week. I'm not competitive and am more doing it to enjoy myself and have a run around. If you're interested let me know :) I'm available on weekends and weekdays after 4 and live in the Coorparoo area usually having a hit at Holland Park, Wynnum or Hibiscus but open to travelling to other areas.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
