Hi I have played squash all my life but have been out for about 2 years. I was last in an A2 team. Would love to arrange a regular social game on the southside. I am a member of Goodlife and live at Sunnybank. I am a shift worker and can usually organize a game during the week and weekends.

Hey guys, I am looking for a social squash player. I have played a bit socially and in social competitions. My fitness isnt't 100% there yet, but can definitely offer a fun game. Looking for partners during the week.

I'm probably a bit better than beginner but not sure if I would be intermediate. Used to play socially a bit with a couple of friends, but haven't had a game for a couple of years now. I work a bit of a funny roster so I'm free any time Thursday till Monday every second week. I'm in Morningside but any where on the south side would be fine.

hi, I used to play quite often in my home country until I came to Brisbane, I played for about 10 years. I've been living in Brisbane for three years but just few months ago i wanted to start playing again, as I live in spring hill i and some friends went to the Qut campus to play until it was closed. Now, I've tried to keep playing at least once a week, the closest placed i found was the active life located in Norman Park, the thing is my friends are not really keen for it, so i would like to find someone to play more often and see how is my game doing and improve it. Like to think i am an intermediate player. Happy to play on week days evening or weekend afternoon.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
