I have played squash regularly for 30 years and am C1 level (New Zealand). I am fit and fast around the court. I visit Brisbane once a month and am looking for a casual game when I am in town, preferably on Sat afternoon. I am looking for a game on Thu, 2 Sep 10 in the afternoon (or Fri, 3 Sep 10). I am flexible with the time. I am not a member at any club but will be happy to meet at your club and pay the visitor's fee for playing.

Hello, I moved to Brisbane 2 years ago from Ireland and havent played squash in that time, I want to get back into it and get a regular game once a week with someone of a similar level. I used to play quite regularly and am pretty keen to get back into it. I live in New Farm and work in the City but can drive anywhere (within reason) on a weekday evening for a game. Cheers!

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
