In the CBD looking for a partner at intermediate level to have a few competitive games with once or twice a week. I've played quite a lot during university but want to get back into it after a few years without hitting a ball. Happy to accept a challenge of someone at a higher level or help a novice come along.

Hi I've played squash at an intermediate level for many years socially and more recently at MSAC. The guy I usually play with has recently headed overseas so looking for new players. Prefer to play at least once a week and at MSAC, although CBD location could be ok as well. Tues to Thurs suits best, but could do the odd weekend.

Have just started playing squash recently and am really enjoying it. I used to play tennis so it makes the transition a little easier. I am looking for a regular hitting partner, once a week to play at knox squash club. I am available Tuesdays 10am - 7.00pm, Thursdays 2pm to 8pm and Weekends.

Hi, I used to play quite regularly but not competitively. I just enjoy a hit. Work shift so weekends are the best bet for me but can do during the week 2 out of every 3 weeks. Anywhere in central melbourne or Melbourne's north.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
