Played squash briefly for a month or so some years back and couldn't follow up on this hobby of mine. Would love to pursue this interest and shared love for a good hearted game. I am lean and athletic , with a passion for trekking and cricket. Would love to join others in future adventure trails around the Blue Mountains and Sydney/NSW areas.

Only ever played social squash with mates from Uni days and still do so once a week so I dont' really know my grade but I'm now looking to have an extra game close to work to stay fit and have fun. Bondi Junction courts are good for me and I'm flexible so I can play during work hours on weekdays and after work before 7PM also on week days.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
