Hi, I'm a 22yo female - recently moved to Sydney from Perth and am looking to get back into playing squash. Played through high school and socially the past couple of years. Wouldn't mind a male or female partner and am available any evening of the week. Looking to play somewhere around the CBD / Surry Hills / Redfern area.

Played about once a week about 3 years ago but a bit rusty and looking to get back into it. Probably between beginner and intermediate level but happy to play players of any ability. Best court would be Sydney Law School courts in Sydney CBD during the week - can sometimes play during the day but obviously mornings or evenings best.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
