Hi, I recently moved to Auburn and am keen to learn how to play squash. I have been looking for a place that offers lessons/trainings, but no luck so far. I played tennis (and volleyball) back in high school but because I am not a huge fan of the SUN, I think squash is a better alternative. I also think squash is more intense which is good! Please drop a message if anyone is willing to teach a beginner. And please, no time wasters.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
