Wishing to play social squash either a week night or Sunday morning, Kidman Park or near Western Suburbs. Used to play A grade (quite a while ago) and did play masters a few years ago for a couple of seasons.

I used to play squash years ago in school but had to stop, wanting to take up the game again, no expert but I don't mind a bit of a game every once in a while, don't mind if it's casual or competitive just want someone I can hit the ball with. Best place near me for squash I think is the ingle farm recreational centre. I am free monday-friday after 5.30pm but not on weekends. Thanks

Absolutely beginner in squash, but I've played tennis for many year so I can hit the ball :) I'm available either weekends and weekdays and can arrange daytime or evenings. Willing to play once or twice a week; for a match or only hitting/drills. Northeaster suburbs are easier for me.

I used to play Squash for fun to burn calories. I am looking for a mate to join me for fun or beginner level on the weekends. I'm a pretty chilled out guy and maybe you could teach me a few skills at the court. I'm in the Mount Gravatt Area (Brisbane), there is a Squash centre in my area where I would like to play.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
