Ulverstone TAS
Beginner
Not a total beginner - have played quite a lot when I had partners in the past but not for a few years. Not good enough for pennant though. Available most times except Monday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon. Mornings would be great esp 9am ish. Ulverstone courts would be my preference since nearby and rarely busy. Tennis also a possibility.

Hi I'm here on holiday for a couple weeks and am looking to have some practice and a few games so I can stay squash fit to return to competitive league squash after the holidays. Would prefer to play during the day time. Staying on the Eastern Shore but can get into Hobart.

About Squash in Australia
Squash is an intense, fast-moving racquet sport played by two players (or four in doubles) inside a four-walled court. Renowned as one of the best cardiovascular workouts available, squash builds speed, agility, reflexes, and mental focus. Whether you play for fitness, competition, or the sheer thrill of the rallies, squash is a sport that rewards regular practice with rapid improvement.
Getting Started
Getting into squash is straightforward — most squash centres offer casual court hire, making it easy to book a court and have a hit with a friend. Beginner coaching clinics and introductory programs run at clubs across the country, covering grip, basic shots, and court movement. Equipment costs are low: all you need is a racquet, suitable non-marking court shoes, and a squash ball. Joining a local club unlocks access to graded competitions, social ladders, and a welcoming community of players at every level.
